"kinda Tough Sometimes"
The material can be hard to get through sometimes, but overall it’s not too bad. I just had to take my time with it and re-read a few parts here and there.

"Billing was fine, receipt just lagged a bit"
The charge itself was the right amount, so no big drama there. I did get a little confused because the receipt didn’t show up right away, and I was sitting there checking my email while drinking lukewarm coffee wondering if something went wrong. Support ended up explaining it quickly, so it was okay in the end. Just a bit annoying for a few minutes.
"Textbook arrived sooner than expected"
I ordered my NASM textbook thinking it might take a while, but it ended up getting here fast. Since the tracking was clear and the updates came through, I wasn’t left wondering where the package was.
The book was packed well, so there were no bent corners or damage when it arrived. Because the shipping was quick and everything showed up in good shape, the whole experience was easy and stress-free.

"Useful, but a little too pushy"
The program itself was useful overall, and support was fine when I needed help. Not amazing, but not bad either. The only thing that kind of annoyed me was how often I felt nudged toward add-ons and bundles after I had already paid. I get that companies have to sell stuff, but it made it feel a little salesy, even though the main thing I bought did work well enough.

"Pretty good support, even though I felt a bit pressured"
I had a question about my account and reached out to support, feeling a little pressured because I needed it sorted out quickly. They got back to me faster than I expected and fixed the issue without making me go through a bunch of back and forth. It wasn’t totally perfect, but overall it was a good experience.
"Pretty Good Prep"
The prep was actually good, good. I wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out better than I thought

"I’ve been using nasm.org mainly for the community..."
I’ve been using nasm.org mainly for the community, it’s been a big help. When I’m stuck on something or just mentally drained from studying, it’s nice to know there are people there who’ve already dealt with the same questions. Not every reply is perfect, but most people are genuinely helpful, and it makes the whole process feel a little less overwhelming and lonely.

"I signed up because I thought I’d get..."
I signed up because I thought I’d get real guidance from a coach when I needed it, but that wasn’t my experience at all. Getting help was difficult, and when I did hear back, the responses felt slow and generic. For what I paid, I expected much more actual support instead of feeling like I was mostly on my own. It was frustrating, i think at the very least an apology would be appropriate.

"Solid overall, but instructions could be clearer"
I’ve been using nasm for my course and overall it’s been a solid experience. Logging in, watching the lessons, and checking my progress have all worked fine for me. My only real complaint is that sometimes the pages load a little slowly or I have to refresh to get things moving again. I also wish some of the instructions were a bit clearer, especially when figuring out next steps. Nothing major, but it can be a little annoying. I’d still give it 4 stars.

"Really helpful instructors"
The instructors clearly know what they’re talking about and explain everything in a way that’s easy to follow. I was totally calm the whole time, obviously, but they definitely made the nasm course feel a lot less overwhelming for me.

"Worked around my chaotic schedule like I hoped"
I picked NASM because I already figured the self-paced thing would be the only way I’d survive studying while working full time, it pretty much confirmed what I expected. I could jump in late at night, squeeze in a chapter during lunch, or skip a day when work got crazy without feeling like I’d fallen behind a class.
The app and site were easy to use overall, and I really liked that I could pause and come back right where I left off. Maybe I was already looking for reasons to like the flexibility, but that part made a big difference for me.
Some of the lessons were a little dry, not gonna lie, so it wasn’t perfect. I’m giving it 4 stars because the flexible schedule was exactly what I needed, even if a few sections could’ve been more engaging

"Scheduling Was Surprisingly Simple"
Booking my NASM exam was way easier than I thought it would be. I was expecting the usual runaround where you somehow end up clicking through a bunch of confusing pages just to find a decent time, but that didn’t happen here. I found a slot that worked for me quickly, the site was straightforward enough, and my confirmation came through without any drama. Nice to finally have something like this not turn into a headache

"Retake option came in handy"
The retake and extension option from NASM helped a lot. Took some pressure off. I do wish the extension details were easier to find, but overall it was a good experience
"Refund took a little while, but it worked out"
Canceling was easy, and the refund did come through eventually. It just took a bit longer than I expected, but everything worked out in the end

"Fair Price and Easy Checkout"
I ended up signing up through nasm.org after looking at a few different certification options. It wasn’t the absolute cheapest, but i felt like the price made sense for what was included, and I’d rather pay a bit more for something that seemed reputable. The monthly payment option definitely helped too, because I didn’t really want to drop the full amount all at once. Checkout was straightforward, I could see the total before paying, and there weren’t any random surprise fees. Overall, I’m happy with the decision.

"Online proctoring was easy"
I was a little unsure about taking my NASM exam online, but it went smoothly. The proctor was chill, check-in didn’t take long, and I didn’t run into any weird issues with my laptop, so overall it was easier than I expected.

"Fair exam, honestly not too bad??"
I thought the exam was fair overall. There were definitely a few tricky questions that made me pause, like wait, what are they asking here?? But nothing felt totally unreasonable if you actually studied the material. I passed on my first try, so I’m happy with how it went

"Decent Course, But Didn’t Really Move the Needle for Me"
I took the course hoping it would help me get a better start in the fitness industry. The material itself was okay, and getting certified felt good at the time, but afterward I didn’t see much change career-wise. When I started applying to gyms near me, most of them still wanted hands-on experience, so the certification alone didn’t open as many doors as I expected. The support was there, but it felt basic. I wouldn’t say the course was useless, but for what I paid, it just didn’t feel worth it for me personally

"Just a heads-up for anyone needing to…"
Just a heads-up for anyone needing to get their CEUs done: I was able to finish mine without much hassle. The process was straightforward, and I didn’t run into any major issues.

"Easy to follow and nicely paced"
I used NASM for my CPT course, i thought the layout made the whole thing feel a lot more manageable than I expected. To me, each section seemed to have a clear purpose, so it didn’t feel like I was just being hit with a bunch of random fitness information.
The pacing worked well for my schedule too. I could usually get through a lesson after work without feeling overwhelmed, and the quizzes were helpful because they showed me what was actually sticking versus what I needed to go back and review.
A few chapters definitely required more focus, but I never felt like the course was impossible to keep up with. Overall, I liked how it was structured, and based on my experience, I’d use NASM again.
